Upgraded ‘Namma BMTC’ app launched

  • Bengaluru Metropolitan Transport Corporation (BMTC) successfully migrates AVLS data to Karnataka State Data Centre (KSDC).
  • The migration, completed on January 31, enhances digital infrastructure for commuters.
  • BMTC has also launched an upgraded mobile application, ‘Namma BMTC,’ for improved real-time bus tracking and user experience.
  • The updated app now tracks over 5,200 BMTC buses, including BS6-compliant and electric ones.
  • The migration improves data security, processing speeds, and uptime.

• The interface has been redesigned for better navigation.
