Karnataka Tops E-Service Delivery in India
- Karnataka is the top state in India for e-service delivery, according to the National Administrative Service Evaluation Report.
- The report, published after a long survey, identifies Karnataka as a model for e-service delivery.
- The state provides the highest number of e-services at 1414, out of 18,334 across the country.
- Other states like Himachal Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Punjab, Rajasthan, Tamil Nadu, Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Kerala, Gujarat, and Karnataka also provide mandatory e-services.
- The report also highlights the best practices for integrated service delivery portals in Goa, Maharashtra, Chhattisgarh, Telangana, Andaman, Nicobar Islands, and Bihar.

First bird census in the forest in Karnataka
- The Forest Department plans to conduct a bird survey in the Male Mahadeshwara Hill Wildlife Sanctuary, a sanctuary bordering Tamil Nadu.
- The survey will be conducted on February 1 and 2, with 50 teams formed to record the presence of birds.
