Chamundi Hills Development under PRASHAD Scheme

Project Details:

  • Location: Chamundi Hills, Mysuru, Karnataka.
  • Scheme: Pilgrimage Rejuvenation and Spiritual Heritage Augmentation Drive (PRASHAD).

Vay Vandana Scheme – Status in Karnataka

Background:

  • Scheme Name: Ayushman Bharat Vay Vandana (ABVV)
  • Target Group: Senior citizens aged 70 years and above
  • Linked to: Ayushman Bharat – Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana (AB PM-JAY)

Current Status in Karnataka:

  • Free treatment still not implemented under ABVV.
  • State is reluctant to roll out the scheme due to lack of financial clarity from the Centre.

Inter-Government Correspondence:
