“Land Bank” System in Villages
Context & Announcement:
- Chief Minister Siddaramaiah announced a new Land Bank system to ensure every homeless family in rural areas gets access to a housing site.
Key Objectives:
- Create a Land Bank in every village to:
- Provide housing sites for landless rural families.
- Address long-pending rural housing issues.
- Enhance livelihood and living standards in rural areas.
