What is ‘Right to Die with Dignity’?
- Karnataka government implemented it on January 30, 2025.
- Allows terminally ill patients on life support to refuse treatment.
- Different from euthanasia – does not involve actively ending life.
- Supreme Court legalized passive euthanasia in 2018, but Karnataka recently enforced it.
